And warn the mankind (of) a Day (when) will come to them the punishment, then will say those who did wrong, "Our Lord! Respite us for a term short; we will answer Your call and we will follow the Messengers." "Had not you sworn from before not for you any end?

Hence, warn men of the Day when this suffering may befall them, and when those who did wrong [in their lifetime] will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Grant us respite for a short while, so that we might respond to Thy call and follow the apostles!" [But God will answer:] "Why - were you not aforetime wont to swear that no kind of resurrection and retribution awaited you
And warn mankind of a day when the doom will come upon them, and those who did wrong will say: Our Lord! Reprieve us for a little while. We will obey Thy call and will follow the messengers. (It will be answered): Did ye not swear before that there would be no end for you
So warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord! respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy call, and follow the messengers!" "What! were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline
And warn people of the day when the chastisement shall come to them, then those who were unjust will say: O our Lord! respite us to a near term, (so) we shall respond to Thy call and follow the messengers. What! did you not swear before (that) there will be no passing away for you
Warn men of the Day when the punishment will come upon them, and when the wrongdoers will say, Our Lord, grant us respite for a short while. We will respond to Your call and will follow the messengers. [But God will answer], are you not those who swore that you would never suffer any decline
And warn humanity of a Day the punishment will approach them. So those who did wrong will say: Our Lord! Postpone for us a near term so that we answer Thy call and follow the Messengers. Yet swore you not an oath before that there would be no ceasing for you?
Warn mankind against a day when torment will come upon them. Those who have done wrong will say: "Our Lord, put us off for a short while; we will answer Your appeal and follow the messengers!" (Did you not use to swear previously that you would never [face] extinction?
And warn the people of the Day when the punishment will overtake ˹the wicked among˺ them, and the wrongdoers will cry, “Our Lord! Delay us for a little while. We will respond to Your call and follow the messengers!” ˹It will be said,˺ “Did you not swear before that you would never be removed ˹to the next life˺?”
Warn people of the Day when this suffering may befall them, and when the unjust will say, "Our Lord, grant us respite for a little more time, so that we might respond to Your call and follow the Messengers." [God will say,] "Did you not swear in the past that your power would have no end?
And warn (O Muhammad) mankind of the Day when the punishment will come to them; then those who wronged will say: “Our Lord! Respite us for a little while, we will answer Your Call and follow the Messengers!” (It will be said): “Did you not sworn before that you would never leave?
And warn mankind of the Day when the punishment shall come upon them, whereupon those who did wrong will say, “Our Lord! Grant us reprieve for a term nigh, that we might respond to Thy Call and follow the messengers.” [It will be said unto them], “Did you not earlier swear that there would be no end for you?
And warn mankind of the Day when the retribution will come to them, and those who were wicked will Say: "Our Lord, delay this for us until a short time, and we will heed your call and follow the messengers!" Did you not swear before this that you would last foreve
So warn people of the Day when punishment will come to them, and when the disbelievers will say, ‘Our Lord, give us a little more time: we shall answer Your call and follow the messengers.’ Did you [disbelievers] not swear in the past that your power would have no end
And warn thou the mankind of the Day whereon the torment will come unto them; then those who have done wrong shall say: our Lord! defer us to a term near at hand we will answer Thy call and we will follow the apostles. Were ye not wont to swear afore that for you there was to be no decline
Warn the people of that Day when the punishment would be inflicted upon them. Then will the wicked say: "O our Lord, give us respite a while more. We shall heed Your call and follow the apostles." (But they will be told,): "Are you not those who used to swear: 'There is no reverse for us?
Warn mankind of the Day when the punishment will reach them. Those who did wrong will say, ´Our Lord, reprieve us for a short time. We will respond to Your call and follow the Messengers.´ ´But did you not swear to Me before that you would never meet your downfall,

Grant us respite for a short while – we will answer your call and follow the Messengers!" (And their entreaty will get the response:) "Did you not use to swear before that there would be no decline and fall for you
Warn the people of the day when the punishment will overtake them, whereat the wrongdoers will say, ‘Our Lord! Respite us for a brief while so that we may respond to Your call, and follow the apostles.’ [They will be told,] ‘Did you not use to swear earlier that there would be no reverse for you
And warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath shall reach them: then those who have done wrong shall say, "O our Lord! Respite us for a short term longer, and we will respond to Thy call, and follow the Messengers!" - "What! Did you not used
And warn mankind of the Day when the torment will come up to them. Then the ones who did (an) injustice will say, "Our Lord, defer us to a near term, (then) we will answer Your Call and closely follow the Messengers." (But) did you not swear earlier that in no way will you (face) extinction
(Muhammad), warn the people of the day when torment will approach them and the unjust will say, "Lord, give us respite for a little time so that we may answer your call and follow the Messengers." (The answer to their prayer will be), "Did you not swear before that you would never perish
Warn the people of a day when punishment will come upon them, and the wrongdoers will say, .Our Lord, give us respite for a short term, and we will respond to Your call and will follow the messengers. (Allah will say), .Is it not that you had sworn oaths earlier that you would not have to leave (the world)
Hence, warn mankind of the Day when this suffering may befall them, and every violator of the Divine Commands will long for a little more respite, saying, "Our Lord! Give us a little time. We will obey Your Message and follow the Messengers." The answer will be given, "Did you not use to swear before that there shall be no decline of status for you?"
And warn mankind of the Day when the Anger (and Punishment) will reach them: Then the wrongdoers will say: "O Lord! Grant some relief to us (even) for a little while: We will come back to Your Call, and follow (Your) messengers!" (The reply will be:) "What! Were you not used to swearing before that you will not leave (this world for the Hereafter)
And, [O Muhammad], warn the people of a Day when the punishment will come to them and those who did wrong will say, "Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers." [But it will be said], "Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation
O Muhammad forewarn mankind of the Day when Our punishment will overtake them; when the wrongdoers will say: "Our Rabb! Give us a little more respite: we will answer Your call and follow the Rasools!" But it will be said to them, "Are you not the same people who once swore that you would never suffer a decline

And (Oh Mohammed, SAW) alert the people about that day when the punishment will land on them. At that time, the evildoers will say, "Oh our Lord, allow us just a little more time! Let them know that there will be a Day when they have to face their punishment. Those who have been unjust will beg: “Our Lord, give just a little more time so that we respond to your Message and follow your Messengers.” They will be responded: “Are you not the same people who used to swear that there is no such thing as punishment?&rdquo

Therefore, warn people O Muhammad of the Day when they are overtaken by Allah's retributive punishment, then the wrongful of actions shall say: "O Allah our Creator, if only You would delay our condemnation to punishment for a term close at hand, we will apprehend the voice from heaven and be in purpose and follow the Messengers" But they shall be told: "Did you not swear before that you shall never suffer loss nor any change in disposition neither in life nor Hereafter."
And warn mankind of the day when the punishment will come upon them, then those who were unjust would say, “Our Fosterer ! give us time till a near term, we will respond to your invitation and we will follow the messengers.” (They will be answered), “Did you not swear before, that there will be no decline for you?
